In honor of The Amazing Race finale last night, here are a few more Questions from Carlo! Feel free to answer all or a few...
Who would you choose to run "The Amazing Race" with and why?
My friend Britney because we have similar personalities and neither of us is a control freak so we could work together well. Although, we have been known to take 20 minutes to decide what restaurant to go to b/c we are both so accomodating we can't make a decision! Ok, my second person would be my mum in law Diane b/c she is such a go-getter, energetic, optimistic, and doesn't give up.
Is there anyone you WOULD NOT want to run the race with? Why?
Unfortunately my Jared would not be someone that I could do the race with. Even though I think we would be great b/c we both have a good energy level and we could run and keep up with the physical demands, we would probably argue about silly little things and lose the race!
If you were selected to be on "The Amazing Race" and could bring only one "comfort from home," what would it be?
Uh, my laptop computer. Ok, no. My cushie massage pillow Jared gave me for Mother's day 2 years ago that I left at my parent's house in Utah when I was visiting. Hey Mom, feel free to send it to me! Or better yet, you could come visit and bring it with you!
If you could only use one health/beauty product while on the race, what would it be?
For a makeup type item I would probably choose mascara b/c my eyelashes have no color and I look like I just woke up all day if I don't put any on.
What type of RoadBlock or Detour would be the most difficult for you? (Examples: food related, height related, bug/animal related)
I don't like heights so the worst would be bungee jumping off something or one of the challenges where they have to climb up something high or repel down the wall of a castle somewhere. I might be able to get past that but I don't think I could stand having bugs or spiders crawl all over me. I could maybe handle eating bugs but not spiders or tarantulas, etc.

What do you think, other than winning the money, would be the best part of being on the Amazing Race?
Seeing all the sites and visiting other countries/places
What would be the worst part?
Not getting to stop and look around, see the sights and explore the cities I went to. It would kill me.
What city or foreign destination would you most like to go to on the Amazing Race?
Definitely Prague. It's at the top of my list of places to see. I would also love to go to Turkey, Nepal, or Japan.
If you had to plan the matching outfits for your team, what would it be?
I am not into matching clothes (like in family photos) so I would probably pick something basic like black fitness type pants and a comfy tshirt. Not sure what the name of the team would be.
If you were on the family version, which family members do you think would make a good team?
I would want Jared's sister Katherine (above), his mom Diane, and my mom
Do you speak a foreign language that would give you an advantage in certain countries? What language?
I speak Thai so if we went to Bangkok I could get around. The high school Spanish might help in Spanish speaking countries.
Who would be on your Dream Team for Amazing Race? Either your family members or celebrities, etc.
I think my husband and his best friend Jeff would make a great team. They are both very fit, determined, could endure under extreme conditions, would eat bread and water for a month to save their money, and would have fun doing it. For celebrities, I would put David Beckham and Matthew Mcconnaughey together on a team. Just so I could watch them. Yum.

Wow Rob, that was so interesting! Thanks for including me on your team, I would not disappoint you. Loved hearing all your answers and would agree with you on almost everyone.
I forgot to tell you that I just cleaned out the guest room closet and found that cranberry colored cushy pillow and wondered how in the world we had two. I will bring it when I come!
I love the Amazing Race but sadly could never go on it. I travel very impatiently, get motion sick and hate heights. Man I sound like a whiner and I'm not, I just would hate the rushing although I would love the clues part of it.
And I too could never go with Milo, we would bicker our way off the show. We are too much alike and I think the winners have to compliment each other.
I saw the title of this post the other day and had to hurry and click off your blog because I feared you were talking about the finale and I hadn't watched it yet, hence my delayed response.
I would never want to run the race with Randy either, I think we'd get too frustrated with each other. I don't think I'd be good at the race at all, but I love to watch it.
Ooooh.... bring it on! I would love to do the Amazing Race. But first, I need to get in shape...Boo!
What an exciting post! Andy and I have always faithfully watched The Amazing Race. We were bummed out for over a week when we MISSED the finale because it was on an hour earlier. For some reason our DVR didn't turn on. We turned it on just in time to see Charla and Mirna cross the finish line last. GRRRRRR!!!!!! Knowing who won just wasn't the same because it is the whole journey of the race that makes it so exciting. (Not like American Idol. I usually just fast-forward to the last five minutes to see who was voted off.)
Anyway, I can't wait to write a post about it now!
I made along comment on Carlo's post. I'm with you about no husbands, bungee jumping or tarantulas though. I would love to see the sites and hate not getting to really see them too. I would love to see anything in Europe and since I speak Spanish that would be helpful to me.
