I took these pictures on Sunday of Olivia in what is, quite possibly, the most adorable dress ever. (there is a scab on her chin, in case you wondered) Although she can be very difficult when she wants to be, I love her so much. She has me wrapped around her finger, and perhaps that is what is most frustrating of all. Her personality is so funny. Here are a few of the reasons I love my sweet girl:
1. She says "I love you" without being prompted or asked
2. She always has her own opinion and isn't easily swayed
3. She has a great sense of direction. I think she could drive us about anywhere (church, school, store) if we let her.
4. She loves books. When it gets quiet and I naturally get suspicious, I often find her surrounded by books in her room, chatting to her dolls as she reads to them.
5. I love her smile. Her face absolutely lights up.
6. She is a great eater. Her favorite things are cheese, granola bars, chocolate pudding, and apples.
7. I love how she says "WOO HOO!" when she is excited. Like when we say "It's time for FHE" or "We're going to a movie".
8. She remembers to say please 98% of the time. I love a kid with manners.
9. I love the way she communicates. She has great facial expressions. She talks more like a 13 yr old than 3 yr old, which is not always a good thing.
I just love her.

So sweet! That dress is impossibly cute, as is the girl wearing it. I love making lists, especially ones outlining what I love about my kids at a certain moment in time. It helps me to focus on the positive! Too funny about her keen sense of direction...
I love the post and glad to see that we're not the only one with cute/ funny nicknames for our kids. I am working on a post about all the silly names we have for our kids. :-) I think it's fun to make these kinds of notes about kids throughout their lives. They're going to enjoy them.
I love her dress. what a fun post for her and for you. Sometimes we have to say out loud why we love them, so when the bad days come, we can remember that tomorrow we will still love them
I love the cute things about Olivia - I love that age! I am so glad you took the time to write this, I am already thankful that I did this a couple of times.
She is so adorable. I totally miss hearing her speak like an adult. She always had me laughing at the things she would say.
The dress is very cute. I just love polka-dots.
That dress is painfully cute, and it always cracks me up how she poses for the pictures. She's cute and she knows it.
