It was such a surprise to get some Good Birthday Mail from Diana and Michelle yesterday! Diana made me this cute little bag and included a nice card too. I love the fabric! The brown and green could not be more perfect. Thanks Diana!
Michelle sent a darling birthday card and a set of cute birthday tags with phrases like "Make a Wish" etc. I just love the scalloped edges, they are adorable. Olivia went to a birthday party today so I got to use one already. Thank you Michelle!
Today I went to Fleet Feet since Heather told me they really helped her find the right running shoes. They were pretty good- they watched me run, figured out what my feet are doing, and helped me find the shoe that will supposedly help me. Since I was already partial to the Mizuno Elixir, I tried that one, along with a NB shoe they recommended. It was so hard to choose b/c I feel like I want the 'magic' shoe. I want the one that is going to take me places, guide me through lots of miles, treat my tired feet well, etc. etc. I went with the NB one.
I also bought the Super Feet inserts they recommended for my flat, overpronating feet. (This is what my friend Heather said has totally fixed her feet) But since I came home and have worn the shoes around the house, my left foot is really hurting me. Like very, very uncomfortable. Not sure what to do about it. Right now the last thing I want to do is go out and run 5 miles. Gotta figure it out.
Anyway, not much happening today. My girls were cracking me up dressing in their snow clothes this morning. They change their clothes so many times a day I lose count. I am so glad that Ashley has picked up this talent from her sister. And, like Olivia, she has realized that the easiest thing to wear is a skirt b/c it makes those outfit changes so much faster. Olivia went through a stage for about 18 months where she wouldn't wear anything but a skirt. Oh, no, here we go!

So cute! I love it when kids dress up. I don't know what it is, but it brings a parent so much joy doesn't it?! I guess it's fun to see kids being so carefree and having fun!
