Future Olympian

Ashley started gymnastics in August and she took off like a shot. She can't get enough of it. She is busy practicing hand stands and cartwheels all around the house. My couch has become a starting point for her backward rolls. Come to think of it, she has long-believed that my couch-coffee table is her vault... guess she's been in training for a while!

 Ashley has always been my most active child. She has been crawling, climbing, and leaping since she was tiny. She has NO fear- sometimes good, sometimes a bad thing. It's been amazing to watch her learn how to control her energy. I've actually been surprised to see how good her form is- she listens to her teachers and follows directions when they say "point your toes" or "pull your chin to the bar" etc. I think she's going to stick with this for a while.

Longest trampoline known to man...

Ashley started out in the beginning 4 year old group, but after 2 sessions the teachers asked if we would move her up. She is now in the 5 year old/Kindergarten class and holding strong. It's kind of fun to see her doing something she's good at. She's been on the heels of Austin and Olivia for so long- attending their soccer games, dance recitals, football games, piano concerts, etc. Now it's her turn!
