PLEASE give me your opinion!
I am organizing a Health Fair to be held in the month of June at the gym where I work. I am really excited about it. We'll be inviting all of the local businesses like chiropractor, aesthetics, massage therapists, physical therapists, restaurants, supplement and nutrition manufacturers, etc. There will be LOTS of free samples, massages, facials, giveaways, sale on fitness gear, sale on memberships at our club, demos of personal training and group ex classes...
I planned to do it on Saturday the 26th from 9-12. Apparently corporate has suggested we do it on a Wednesday b/c then we don't compete with Saturday events. Supposedly this is going to increase our attendance. WHAT DO YOU THINK? Please vote and let me know if you would be more likely to attend on Wednesday or Saturday. Thanks!!!

I think if your target audience is stay at home moms, or college students off for the summer, Wednesday would be just fine, but if you want to include a broader audience (anyone who has a 9-5 job) then you may want to consider leaving it on Saturday. If there are activities for kids, then people would be able to come before/after their other obligations.
On the other hand, if it's on a Wednesday evening as opposed to the same time frame your Saturday event would be, you may be able to catch people on their way home from work. (Although, my gym always had their events on weekdays and I always missed them because I typically went to the gym later in the evening...the gym was usually my last stop of the evening before bed, and they'd start wrapping things up a few hours before the gym closed).

Saturday. Wednesdays I only allow time to get in and out of the gym for a workout. No time to browse freebies. Saturday you're more likely to get my business when I'm not in such a rush.
That sounds cool Robyn, I don't want to miss it. I would definitley say that Saturday would be the day I would go :)
This sounds so cool robyn. I think i agree with everyone else. On Saturday you'd get a broader group of people. I personally would be more likely to go on a Wednesday if I was allowed to bring the kids.
I would think saturday would work better......Sounds like something fun and I think you would get more traffic on a weekend.....got your sweet little note today...thank you, you illuminated my day!
