A little Indian squaw

Today Olivia was very excited to go to school because her teacher said they could dress up as an Indian or a Pilgrim for their Thanksgiving Feast. She chose to be an Indian so we had to come up with a little squaw outfit at the last minute. Thankfully, Dad let us cut up one of his brown tshirts and we paired it with brown leggings. I made a little headdress with feathers out of paper and she was happy! Her teacher must be doing a good job of covering the history of Thanksgiving because she is very into it- she chose this book at the library the other day.
