Yesterday I was in my landlord's driveway, which is just around the corner, and I saw that her neighbor had a gold mine of cute shabby chic stuff in the garage. I ventured over and asked if they sold it or what? It turns out that they do the local markets and sell all manner of cute stuff; lamps, chairs, pillows, peg boards, dressers, etc. They buy old furniture and refinish it. So adorable. I bought this lamp and peg board to hang up in Ashley's room.
Her bedding is baby pink toile and I love the contrast of the bright pink. Love the polka dots. I would love to have her do a chair in this same fabric. Like a padded seat or something. Anyway, I was so excited to discover such treasures around the corner. Just had to share.
